PAPER CUT-OUT STOP-MOTION ANIMATED FILM
A stop motion animation about a little girl who falls into a world of anxiety after her father leaves the family, and how her mother rescues her and helps her overcome her problems with her love.
The project is a stop-motion animation shot from a top-down method, involving silhouettes formed from paper cutouts on a backlit surface. The project makes use of real hair on the paper puppets, creating a realistic texture throughout the short film, where hair plays a huge role in portraying the emotions that drive the plot.

The film was nominated for the Media Student Animation category at SCAPE's National Youth Film Awards 2020.
